IAB Forum 2016:

Limitless possibilities #NeverSleep.

There are a few recurring events on our calendar. IAB Forum is one of those events, and the opportunity to meet up with the leaders of the digital industry.

For the fourth year in a row we met in Milan for the IAB Forum. The more than 15,000 attendees, including managers and entrepreneurs from Italy’s digital industry, were involved in different networking opportunities – IAB Forum hosted more than 60 workshops in two days.

This year we supported the Forum as a Platinum Sponsor. We wanted to give a solid contribution to the renowned Digital event in our country and have a real conversation with the event’s participants.

We jumped at the chance to organise a workshop and a speech at the Forum’s Agorà. In this way, we were able to share our thoughts about Digital and Social Media best practices, explaining how, with the right mindset, we can make the Digital a very useful tool in our fast-paced, ever changing era.

 

Le Scomode Verità – The Annoying Truths is the title of the impudent workshop presented by Tiziano Tassi and Pier Sandro Cancellara, respectively Caffeina’s CEO and Creative DirectorLe Scomode Verità reveals many of the false myths about Social Media Management for business, underlining the need for users to have a shared culture about the right approach and philosophy to pursue.

Our full-house workshop saw Francesco Potenza, Head of Digital of Gruppo Parmalat, as special guest in the conversation with our speakers, while the audience actively followed the speech and tweeted their reaction real-time.

At the Forum’s Agorà, the meeting point for daily speeches in the heart of the exhibitors area, we discussed about Atlas, the people-based marketing tool by Facebook. Enrico Pellucco, Media Lead, shared our case study about Hogan’s e-commerce sales rate. Our comparative study found significant differences between results obtained through Atlas and traditional tracking systems.

We were excited to see that Le Scomode Verità went sold out this fast, and that we still had 320 people on our waiting list. For this reason, we think we owe you our presentations; you can find them here below, in Italian:

We had many people passing by our iconic booth. From the CEOs of up-and-coming startups, to Country Managers and Digital Managers of multinational companies. Last but not least, we met some VIPs of the industry, such as legendary Tech Blogger Salvatore Aranzulla and Digital Entrepreneur Marco Montemagno.

Meeting the industry professionals enriches us with new inputs year after year. Different points of view reinforce our general perpective on what we do and encourage us to always do our best and beat our limits.
